Allu Sirish’s ‘Buddy’ Gets a New Release Date, Set for August 2

Allu Sirish is all set to hit the screens with his latest film, ‘Buddy’, helmed by Tamil director Sam Anton. Earlier, the film was slated for a worldwide release on July 26; however, it has been postponed and is now scheduled to dazzle audiences in theaters on August 2.

The filmmakers took to their social media handles and announced the update with a poster featuring Allu Sirish and a teddy bear.

The film stars Allu Sirish and Gayatri Bharadwaj as the main leads, with talented cast members Ajmal Amir, Prisha Rajesh Singh, Mukesh Kumar, Mohammed Ali, and others in significant roles. K.E. Gnanavel Raja and Aadhana Gnanavelraja jointly produced the film under the banner of Studio Green, promising stunning visuals.

Renowned music composer Hip Hop Tamizha is at the helm of the music direction for this action flick. The film is going to compete with other films like Raj Tarun’s ‘Tiragabadara Saami’, Sree Kamal’s ‘Usha Parinayam’, Krishna Vamsi and Mokksha’s ‘Alanaati Ramachandrudu’, and also another Telugu film, ‘Operation Raavan’.

Touted to be a fantasy action drama, the filmmakers earlier clarified that it is not a remake of the 2021 film ‘Teddy’ starring Arya and Sayyesha.

Allu Sirish last appeared in the romantic drama ‘Urvasivo Rakshasivo’ alongside Anu Emmanuel, making his return to the screen with this upcoming film after 2 years, eagerly anticipating a blockbuster. Stay tuned for further exciting updates!!
