On the one hand, there was confusion in the party as several key leaders were leaving, but recently the Greater Warangal municipal officials issued notices to the Hanamkonda party office, which created a stir among the BRS leaders.
Initially, there was criticism that over Rs 30 crore worth land was assigned to the party at a nominal rate of Rs 100 per yard, costing Rs 4 lakh. Days after Miniter Komatireddy Venkata Reddy ordered demolition of the BRS office in Nalgonda, efforts are now going on for demolition of Hanamkonda office.
During BRS’s regime, both the party’s district office and MLA’s camp office were built at survey number 1066 in Balasamudram. Moreover, buildings were allegedly constructed without any permission from city planners.
BRS Hanamkonda district office was built in the Warangal West constituency, but the party was defeated in the last year’s assembly elections. Here Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar, who contested as a sitting MLA, lost, while Naini Rajender Reddy of Congress won.
After that, the activities are being carried out in the MLA camp office built by the government. But the problem started with the construction of the BRS party office adjacent to the MLA camp office. If both Congress and BRS meetings are held at the same time, clashes between activities between two parties become unavoidable and police take risk with bandobast.
It seems the MLA camp office was constructed in the premises of BRS party office with overconfidence that BRS will remain in power forever. As a result, local MLA Naini Rajender Reddy complained to the authorities in the face of frequent problems. He asked the officials to move the party office from there and show the government place elsewhere.
Hanumakonda RDO N. Venkatesh has written a letter to cancel the land allocated for the construction of the BRS party office in the acre land belonging to the government. When he asked BRS leaders to submit him papers showing approval for building construction.
As the BRS leaders were unable to show any such paper, MLA Rajender Reddy said to be insisting on demolishing the BRS party office in the face of frequent difficulties due to the lack of any evidence that permission has been taken by them.
