Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has reached out to his Telangana counterpart, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, proposing a crucial meeting on July 6 at Revanth Reddy’s residence in Hyderabad. In his letter, Naidu emphasized the importance of this meeting to address and resolve key issues stemming from the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act of 2014. This landmark act, which led to the bifurcation of the erstwhile unified Andhra Pradesh into two separate states, has left several matters unresolved, necessitating ongoing dialogue and cooperation.
Naidu expressed his desire to foster a spirit of close collaboration between the two Telugu-speaking states. He highlighted the shared cultural, historical, and linguistic bonds that unite Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, underscoring the need for mutual understanding and cooperation to ensure the sustained progress and prosperity of both regions.
