In what is going to be the first ever visit as an MLA and also in the capacity of Deputy Chief Minister, Janasena supremo and Panchayati Raj Minister Pawan Kalyan is all set to embark on a three day tour from July 1st to his home turf, Pithapuram, where he won with a thumping mandate in the recent assembly elections. This is also the first official tour of Pawan Kalyan after assuming charge as Deputy CM of the state ever since the NDA alliance stormed to power in a historic manner.
Sources close to the actor and politician say the three-day visit intends to be a thanksgiving tour to express gratitude to the people of Pithapuram for giving him a huge majority in the assembly elections. Pawan Kalyan moved from Bhimavaram to Pithapuram and contested against former Kakinada MP Vanga Geetha, whom the YSRCP fielded as the Pithapuram MLA. After intense campaigning, Pawan Kalyan secured the seat hands down with more than 70k votes.
Pawan will thank the people of Pithapuram for trusting him. He will likely meet the local leaders and discuss various developmental activities to be carried out over the next five years.
He will hold a review meeting with the authorities to discuss the needs of the constituency.
Pawan Kalyan will also meet the leaders of neighboring Godavari districts and undertake various activities in these places.
Immediately after taking charge, Pawan Kalyan started holding Praja Darbar in Tadepalli and acting on the grievances of the public. Besides overseeing his portfolios, Pawan is taking an active role in the state affairs as a subordinate to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
Pawan Kalyan is currently on a 11 day Varahi Ammavari Deeksha. He will visit Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy temple on this 29th.
