The first cabinet meeting of the newly formed government in Andhra Pradesh will take place on Monday in the state secretariat in Velagapudi. Chief Minister and TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan will preside over this meeting which will see the presence of all cabinet ministers who recently assumed charge of their respective ministries after allotment of portfolios.
The cabinet is likely to discuss various key aspects relating to the state. The roadmap for implementation of key poll promises like ‘Super Six’ schemes is going to be the main agenda for this meeting. The cabinet will come up with a rough estimation of the requisite budget to roll out all cash transfer schemes and other welfare measures.
It is known fact that Chandrababu Naidu has signed files relating to Mega DSC, ban on Land Titling Act, Rs 4000 pension, opening of Anna Canteens and Skill Census implementation immediately after taking charge as Chief Minister few days ago. Now, the cabinet will discuss about implementation of all these promises immediately.
Moreover, the cabinet is going to take a decision on the release of white papers on the facts and figures of all key ministries and its departments. Also, the funds required for construction of capital and Polavaram project are likely to come up for discussion in the meeting.
Further, the cabinet will discuss about the budget sessions which are going to take place in July.
