Exposed : Jagan’s 500 Crore Plushy ‘Rushikonda’ Palace

With YS Jagan Mohan Reddy out of power after facing an embarrassing debacle in the hands of the NDA alliance in the recent assembly elections, skeletons started tumbling out one by one from the closet as the new government is on a mission to expose the irregularities committed by his government from 2019–24 in various aspects. Today, another shocking fraud came to light.

One of the most controversial decisions taken by Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government was to demolish the existing tourism resorts in Rushikonda and construct a palatial building in the name of a beach resort that will house banquet halls, guest rooms, restaurants, villa suites, a spa, fitness centers, indoor games, back offices, and service areas. The project was initially estimated to cost around 365 crores, and funds were released through a government GO in 2021.

There was a huge backlash from the opposition parties and the people of Vizag over this decision. Yet Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government went ahead with its plan and started the construction. The entire building was completed a few months before the election notification, and there has been no access to anyone till today.

Today morning, Bheemili MLA Ghanta Srinivas Rao, along with his associates and mediapersons, went inside this controversial building to give a sneak peek of it to the people of Andhra Pradesh. The inside visuals came as a huge shock to everyone because of the opulence and lavishness.

What is more shocking is that these visuals reveal the barefaced lie of Jagan’s government, which tried to project it as a tourist resort, but it turns out to be a rich building that was supposedly Jagan’s residence had he retained power for the second time.

The building boasts luxurious facilities and state-of-the-art amenities, as crores were splurged for the interior designs and other equipment. Elaborate verandahs with glittering chandeliers, expansive bathrooms, and large living rooms are part of this building.

Jagan’s plan was to shift from Tadepalli to Vizag for his second term. But his three-capital formula was strictly opposed by the people of all three areas, as the YSRCP was decimated like never before from Uttar Pradesh to Rayalaseema in the recent elections.

It remains to be seen how the new government under Chandra Babu Naidu transforms this 500-crore building and what action they will take against Jagan and his ministers for looting public money.
