Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has decided to streamline the public grievance redressal system in the government and has decided to rebrand existing `Spandana’ into `Public Grievance Redressal System’. To this extent, Chief Secretary Nirab Kumar Prasad has issued orders to the collectors of all districts.
The CS said that these orders will come into effect immediately. During the tenure of the earlier government, a response program was organized to receive complaints and suggestions related to public issues and government departments. The state government found that there were many flaws in the programme.
Thus, in 2014, the TDP government took a decision to restore the name of the Public Grievance Redressal System under the Chandrababu government. The last Chandrababu Govt built Praja Vedika for consideration of state level grievances.
Prajavedika was demolished after Jaganmohan Reddy took charge as CM. They rushed to hold a public durbar at Tadepalli Palace and delayed it for five years without starting it. The then Jagan government spent time only with Spandana reviews.
The current government has recognized that people have suffered because the problems have not been solved in this program. With this, the government will soon implement the Public Grievance Redressal System from the state level to the lower level.
To this extent, CS Nirab Kumar Prasad has issued memos to all district collectors. Henceforth, the Public Grievance Redressal System will be implemented in all government offices, it has been mentioned in the order.
Meanwhile, while focusing his attention on the administration, Chandrababu Naidu has now decided to spare sufficient time to the party activities also. During the earlier regime, he found due to his preoccupation with the administration he was unable to spare time for the party, which resulted in disastrous consequences.
After taking the oath, Chandrababu went to the secretariat for two days. Now, he has decided to visit the TDP central office for the first time as Chief Minister on Saturday. No matter how busy he is in governance affairs, he wants to give time to party workers and leaders.
Thus, he said he intended to give a message to the MLAs and Ministers to follow the same policy by devoting time to the party affairs also.
