Chandrababu Set A New Record In Intense Poll Campaign

As the campaign period ends on Saturday, on the last day also TDP supremo and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu addressing in as many as six public meetings and set a new record in conducting an intense campaign to root out the repressive and anarchy regime of YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

Probably, no other leader in the country has taken up such a tireless campaign during ensuing polls. Ignoring his advancing age of 70s, he participated in meetings, roadshows and interaction sessions more than before like an indefatigable young man. Without break and rest, daily he attended 3 to 5 public meetings.

Even union Home Minister Amit Shah was surprised hearing his hectic poll schedule at this age without a break or rest. While taking part in the campaign, also actively involved in internal meetings for coordination and negotiations with alliance partners.

He campaigned by traveling hundreds and thousands of kilometers regardless of sun and rain. It must be said that Chandrababu’s campaign was different from the leaders of other political parties. Meetings and roadshows were organized in about 90 constituencies in the name of Prajagalam.

Except during the covid period, he spent most of the time during the last five years among the people. Large-scale tours were undertaken in every region to fight public issues. He fought tirelessly against the anti-people decisions taken by the government.  During the last four months, the TDP chief covered as many as 114 assembly segments.

Two years ago, large scale agitational programmes were organised named  `Badude, Badudu’ protesting the hike in taxes, electricity charges and rising prices. He organized the `Badude Badudu’ program in 19 constituencies in 2022 and last year conducted extensive tours in the name of `Idvem Karma Mana Rastraniki’ in 29 assembly segments, taking up people’s awareness exercises.

He undertook these tours from Kurnool to Pathapatnam, exposing destruction of irrigation projects, by YCP government, covering a distance of 3,000 kms in 13 districts. He exposed CM Jagan’s negligence of irrigation projects by giving powerpoint presentations at each project site.

The YCP government became scared with these activities, foisted false cases against Chandrababu Naidu, arrested him and put him in jail for 53 days. After being released on bail, he  was on the road again, and fought harder than before against the government’s anti-people policies.

From January 5 last year, Chandrababu held massive meetings in 25 parliamentary constituencies under the name `Ra Kadali Ra’. The Super Six schemes announced as part of the mini-manifesto were strongly taken to the public.
