Chandrababu Says Kadapa Is No One’s Jagir

TDP chief and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu asserted that Kadapa is no one’s jagir and if people think about it, they have to come down to the ground. Speaking at a largely attended roadshow in Kadapa as part of his Prajagalam election campaign, he cautioned that if Jagan comes to power again, axes will come to every house.

Stating that Jagan’s regime is a curse on people, he said that prices of essential commodities like petrol and diesel have increased and the lives of common people have become miserable.

He lamented that Jagan, who had given kisses and gifts during last election to everyone, did not implement any promise.  He said that CM Jagan has not made any development even in his own district after being the Chief Minister for five years.

Kadapa steel plant has been blocked and not even one irrigation project has not been completed, he said. Chandrababu deplored that `politics of violence’ have returned to Rayalaseema. He wondered how Jagan can ask votes by keeping aside the accused in the murder case of his own uncle?

Naidu said that having come to power in the name of prohibition, is now selling spurious liquor at abnormal prices and moreover he banned quality liquor coming from Telangana and Tamil Nadu. He recalled that during the last elections, Jagan promised that he would ask votes again only after implementing prohibition. Does he have any right to ask for votes now?, he asked.

Chandrababu Naidu deplored that Jaganmohan Reddy has spoiled the environment in the state and made ganja available everywhere. Expressing concern over Jagan’s regime apathy towards minorities, he asserted that TDP is the only party that stood by Muslims in the state. He promised to restore all the schemes after coming to power that were halted by CM Jagan.
