Union Defence minister Rajnath Singh, accusing the YSRCP government of having incurred the state lakhs of crores of rupees debt, said that it burdened every citizen with debt.
Addressing a meeting with intellectuals in Visakhapatnam he introduced TDP Lok Sabha Candidate Bharath and BJP Assembly candidate Vishnukumar Raju and urged support candidates of NDA in the state to put an end to YCP’s corrupt regime.
He accused the YCP government of emptying the entire treasury and putting the burden of taxes on the people. In the end, he expressed his anger saying that even the garbage was taxed and tortured. Rajnath Singh flagged that the Jagan government has made Visakhapatnam a hub for sending drugs to AP.
He expressed concern that land mafia, human trafficking mafia and mining mafia are roaming in AP. He criticized Jagan’s government for being completely bogged down in corrupt allegations. He assured that the NDA alliance will ensure the development of the state.
Rajnath Singh criticized Jagan’s government for not taking any steps to complete the Polavaram project. He made it clear that the day to oust the YCP government is coming soon. Rajnath made it clear that the alliance government will provide the necessary assurance for the development of the state.
Rajnath reminded that the NDA government has shown respect towards the Telugu people by giving the Bharat Ratna to the Telugu child PV Narasimha Rao, who was ignored by the Congress party. He also said that the Narendra Modi government at the center after re-electing will take all measures for simultaneous elections in the country in the next five years.
The Union Defence Minister cautioned that the Congress party is trying to divide the country on the basis of religion. He criticized the party for trying to give reservations on the basis of religion which was not approved by the constitution.
He said that the NDA government has taken many measures for the development of minorities without any discrimination. He said that the Congress party when in power tried to make religious calculations even in the Indian Army. Rajnath Singh also said that presently minorities are getting equal opportunities in government jobs without any discrimination.
