YCP Cadre Unhappy With CM Jagan’s Bus Yatra In Godavari Districts

Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s bus yatra `Memanthaa Siddam’, presently going in Godavari districts for election campaign, is causing disappointment among YCP cadre. As he is confined inside the bus only and not coming out to greet people and respond to their greetings, it is failing to create much enthusiasm.

Many women and men who were transported in autos to his bus yatra were discontent on Thursday, as he did not get off the bus anywhere. He was confined inside the bus and greeting people from behind glasses and even not opening glass windows to say hello to people.

Hardly anywhere he addressed them and formally sought people to vote for his party. Party leaders, who had cultivated many hopes that his Bus Yatra will enthuse people favouring the ruling party, were seen discontented. The purpose of Jagan’s bus yatra seems to be only to get people’s sympathy by showing the bandage on his forehead.

It may be recalled only last week both TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan have jointly toured in Godavari districts for two days. They had electrified the poll campaign of the alliance parties. But Jagan failed to create such enthusiasm among the ruling party cadre.

Jagan greeted people from inside the AC bus and left everywhere. On Thursday, Jagan started his bus yatra from Tanuku Rural Mandal of West Godavari District. He got out of the bus only at Tanuku Bypass. In the rest of the centres, he proceeded by saluting from inside the bus. Later his journey entered Konaseema district.

Jagan was expected to speak at the main intersections, but he settled for greetings. Meanwhile, people faced difficulties due to police restrictions. There was a huge traffic jam on the national highway. Women and old people with children basked in the sun.

YCP leaders parked their vehicles at the entrance and exit gates of Ravulapalem bus stand causing problems for the buses. Later his journey reached Siddhanta via Peravali in East Godavari district. There the CM came out and received petitions from the people.
