TDP supremo and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan have called upon the people to protect the state of Andhra Pradesh from the clutches of Jagan Mohan Reddy. Addressing a joint election rally in Tanuku, they said that TDP, Jana Sena and BJP joined together only to save the state from the repressive and corrupt regime of YS Jagan and also to pave the way for the all-round development of the state.
Chandrababu reiterated his promise that soon after coming to power the first signature will be conducting Mega DSC. He assured that the government will focus on creating immense employment opportunities for the youth and also skill development environment.
Chandrababu expressed gratitude to the unconditional support extended by Pawan Kalyan to him, at a time when he was in trouble. “I will never forget it”, he said. He appreciated Pawan Kalyan’s commitment for alliance so as to avoid a split in anti-government votes.
He said that both of them decided to include BJP in their alliance realizing the need of Central government’s cooperation in the development of the state, which has been ruined by YS Jagan for the last five years. He recalled that in 2014, when three parties were together, people of combined West Godavari supported them by electing in all 15 seats. He urged people to extend similar support now also.
Naidu said that people should support them if they want jobs, if they want to complete Polavaram and other major projects.
Pawan Kalyan said that when the alliance comes to power, their first words in the Assembly will be on the welfare of middle class people. He criticized that the state government has looted about Rs.70,000 crores of money of TA, DA and surrender leaves related to the police personnel, he assured that the new government will focus on their welfare.
He said that the YCP government that made the farmers cry should be wiped out in this election. He deplored that when people asked about the rehabilitation of Polavaram project, the minister was dancing.
