If TDP returns to power during the present elections, promising that the government will complete Polavaram and Veligonda projects, TDP chief and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced that a new district will be created with Markapuram as headquarater.
Addressing Prajagalam public meeting in Markapuram on Sunday evening, he criticized that the YCP government failed to complete Veligonda project works during its five year regime, though only 20 percent pending works remained.
During Prajagalam public meetings, while criticising YSRCP government failures and anarchy it has created, Chandrababu is making new promises to people, if he returns to power. Only a day ago, he announced that after becoming chief minister his first signature will be on a Mega DSC.
Likewise, in Markapuram he announced formation of a new district in this backward carea. On the other hand, Chandrababu criticized the YCP government for playing three tricks with the state in the name of three capitals.
He deplored that YS Jaganmohan Reddy pushed the state into debt trap and brought a debt of 13 lakh crores borne by the people of AP. He criticized them for cheating by giving promises like prohibition of liquor, cancellation of CPS and Mega DSC.
Chandrababu said that he will create wealth if he comes to power, so that incomes of the people will grow and it will be distributed among poor people. Expressing overwhelming response to his public meeting in Markapuram from the people, the former chief minister said that he had never witnessed such a mammoth response in this city.
The people’s response is an indication how they are angry with the present government and thus giving a warning on their determined decision to throw out this regime. He urged the people to bless the candidates of TDP, BJP and Jana Sena, so as to put the state into the right track again.
