Naga Chaitanya continues to Uncover New Horizons

Despite hailing from an illustrious family and having the support of his father and seasoned actor Akkineni Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya never runs after top-league directors and ambitious stories. Moreover, he never shies away from traversing diverse roles and attempting new genres irrespective of how his films fare at the box office. This unique and gusty ability of Chaitanya has always held him in high regard among moviegoers and trade circles.

In his upcoming film Thandel, Naga Chaitanya is going to appear in a rustic avatar for the first time in his career. He plays a fisherman in this rural patriotic drama which is inspired by true events that happened in the Gujarat Sea where a group of fishermen were held captive by the Pakistan Coast Guard.

After Thandel, Naga Chaitanya is eyeing to explore another different genre with Virupaksha director Karthik Varma Dandu. Reports suggest that the ‘Custody’ actor gave the nod to a line narrated by the talented director and asked him to come up with a bound script. It is going to be a mystical thriller with a blend of supernatural elements and commercial values that can resonate with all sections of moviegoers.

Naga Chaitanya wants to be recognized as a versatile actor who can fit into any type of role. He is eager to take a plunge into new genres and entertain the audiences with his acting mettle. So, he continues to explore new avenues, said a close source to the actor.
